Under Rage does not have an illustrator. Is this the end?
Not even close!
I have been keeping my eyes open for an artist this last year. Someone who would pick up where the series left off. Due to recent projects and developments, however, I have decided to instead start from ‘scratch.’
I felt that the change in art style would be too jarring to pick up where I left off in issue 1, so I am opting to start Under Rage over with a new issue 1 featuring a condensed storyline from the original 10-issue script I made originally.
During the production of Mindgames, I felt that my writing drastically improved from when I originally wrote Under Rage, along with my framing of sequential art, so I am excited to start the project anew with expanded ideas and new perspectives on the comic book medium.
Because of this, the original Issue 1 will be on a permanent ‘sale’ (click below or go to my storefront). It’s got some top-notch art and action sequences, all done by the amazing Trent Rommel!
Most concepts and ideas will remain the same. Imagine this as a pilot episode, a proof of concept that is non-canonical to the overall story. I thank everyone who backed me over Kickstarter when issue 1 originally came out. Once I release a new issue 1, every backer from then will receive the rereleased issue for free!
